Behind the scenes of the musical prodigy
Interview by Dean Chester
Did you ever believe you would achieve
the level of success you have achieved?
No one ever starts out in the thought of
making it this big, i was just a simpleton
with big dreams, high hopes and a guitar,
i did what i did for the fun of it not for
what i would achieve because of it. The
achievements, the success and the fame
that have followed are just byproducts
of what i had hoped to achieve but all the
while i am grateful to everyone for their
support and love.
You have had nothing short of a life filled
with fame and glory from for the past 5
years or so, have you ever thought of the
normality of life you have missed?
Yes, at times in my life i have thoughts
of regret on how ive missed out on
the idea of school, friends and that
whole normality thing but to be honest
i dont regret it as much as i love being
who i am at the moment. These past
years, i have seen a life only a few
get to witness and enjoy, so i can call
myself one of the lucky ones.
Who have been your inspirations throughout
that have lead you to become who you are
today?
The support of my parents has
been most inspiring , i am who i am
because of them and i would not be
here if they hadn’t been there for me.
Otherwise musical inspirations i would
say are Ryan Tedder, Isaac Slade
my childhood favouties the
Backstreet Boys and many others
my memory fails to recall at this
moment.
What does music mean to you?
I believe music means some-
thing different to every one
on the world, to me it
means peace of mind, a
way of escape from the
harshness of life and a
moment of realization of
the rights and wrongs of
life.
What do feel about
your secold album,
do you feel it will
get as much fame
as the first one did?
I wrote the songs in
the first album not
having the pressure
of what the audience
would think of them, i
wrote them straight
out of what my mind
had to offer free of any
tensions of how they would
be recieved but the songs in
second album i fear may not
be recieved as well, but lets
wait and see!
What do you expect out of the
future to bring for you?
Honestly the fear of not
knowing what the future
holds, for me is beautiful
